How to Type on a PDF Online — Add Text Free

Need to fill in a form, label a diagram, or add a comment to a PDF? You can type text anywhere on a PDF page without Adobe Acrobat — directly in your browser.

1

Step 1 — Open PDF Studio

Go to pdfeditor.onl/pdf-studio and upload your PDF. The document opens in the full-page editor.

2

Step 2 — Select the Text Tool and Click to Type

Click the Text tool in the toolbar, then click anywhere on the PDF page. A text box appears — type your content immediately.

Tip: To fill in a printed form field, zoom in first so you can position the text box precisely inside the field boundaries.

3

Step 3 — Style the Text

Use the properties panel to choose font family, size, color, bold, and italic. Match the existing document style for a professional result.

4

Step 4 — Download the PDF

Click Download. The typed text is permanently embedded in the PDF and appears on every device and printer.
