How to Draw on a PDF Online — Annotate Free

Drawing on a PDF is useful for marking up documents, creating freehand annotations, circling important content, or sketching feedback directly on a page.

1

Open PDF Studio

Go to pdfeditor.onl/pdf-studio and upload your PDF.

2

Select the Pen / Annotation Tool

Click the Pen icon in the toolbar. Choose a color and stroke thickness. Then draw freely on the PDF page using your mouse, trackpad, or finger on a touchscreen.

Tip: On a tablet with a stylus, the pen tool produces natural-looking freehand annotations. Great for markup reviews and feedback.

3

Add Shapes or Arrows

Draw straight lines, circles, and arrows by making controlled strokes. For an arrow, draw a straight line and add a small V-tip at the end.

4

Download the Annotated PDF

Click Download PDF. All drawn annotations are permanently flattened into the page content.
