How to Add Page Numbers to a PDF Online — Free

Page numbers are essential for reports, legal documents, and books. Here's how to add professional page numbering to any PDF without Adobe Acrobat.

1

Open PDF Studio and Upload Your PDF

Go to pdfeditor.onl/pdf-studio and upload your document. All pages will be loaded and ready to edit.

2

Select the Page Numbers Tool

Click the Page Numbers option in the toolbar. Choose the position: top-left, top-center, top-right, bottom-left, bottom-center, or bottom-right.

3

Set Your Preferences

Choose the starting page number (useful if your document is part of a larger report), the font, the font size, and the color. A preview shows how the numbering will look.

Tip: For formal documents, bottom-center at 10pt in a neutral grey is a clean, professional standard.

4

Apply and Download

Click Apply Page Numbers. Numbers are added to every page and the PDF is ready to download immediately.
