How to Add Multiple Signatures to a PDF — Free

Documents requiring multiple signatories — contracts, approvals, witness signatures — need different signatures placed on different pages or fields. Here is how.

1

Option 1 — Sequential Signing by Each Person

Person A signs and downloads the PDF. Person B opens the signed PDF in pdfeditor.onl/sign-pdf, adds their own signature, and downloads. Each person adds their signature to the document in turn.

Tip: This is the simplest workflow for two or three signatories. The final PDF contains all signatures from each sequential signing session.

2

Option 2 — One Person Places Multiple Signature Slots

If you are collecting signatures on behalf of others, create separate signature images for each signatory (or placeholder boxes). Place them at the correct positions. Send the partially prepared PDF to each signer in turn.

3

Add Initials to Each Page Alongside Main Signature

For documents requiring initials on every page plus a signature on the final page: create an initial mark (small text or drawing with your initials), place it on each page, then place the full signature on the signature page.
